Originally from North America, it's now being produced in several countries, finding one of the best places in Argentina.

They come in 3 different sizes, the largest size, the medium-sized, and the smallest size will go into the bird and pet feeding market.

It may come in several varieties, from round shape (dakota type), to extra long (XL hybrids that are up to 3 cm long), passing through Long shape, which is the most common one because of it´s versatility.

It's mostly black with white stripes, but there may be the opposite to it, being white with black stripes.
